Photography
My name is Blayre Weaver, I love God, my family and my friends. I am a single mom of two precious, blue eyed, and dimple faced girlies. I gave birth to my first daughter in 2021. When I was pregnant with her I chose to have her at a birth center in Dallas. This was the BEST decision of my life which has propelled me into what I do now. I fell in love with the process of pregnancy and birth and quickly discovered that being a part of the birth world was something I was called to do. Since then it has opened up amazing opportunities for me to capture life behind my lens. Doors have opened for me to photograph weddings, newborns, events and more! I absolutely love what I do and am passionate about finding new ways to capture sweet moments.

Doula
I did not always have my heart set on becoming a doula. In fact, until my second pregnancy I did not even know doulas existed. I have a degree in Merchandise Marketing and began my career in retail, wholesale, and product development in the corporate world. After the care I received from my midwife and the student midwife when I had my second baby girl, I knew that I wanted to support women in this way. My first daughter was born in a hospital because I wasn't aware that there were options and I was not very confident in my ability. Toward the end of my second pregnancy I became aware of other options and transferred care to a wonderful midwife. Little did I know, that I would have to transfer during active labor back to the hospital. My midwives stayed there with me through it all. I will have to share more of that story another time, but I believe that experience has allowed me to relate to other women and their journeys as I serve them. That birth experience changed everything for me as a Christ follower, woman, friend, mother, and wife. It caused my values and priorities to shift. Birth is powerful! My most recent birth story came from the birth of my son Zion. He was born at home into the hands of his daddy with an amazing midwife and birth team around. Once again, the Lord was faithful and continues to teach me more and more through these experiences. I feel that our culture and society has diminished the value of birth and the process. God has chosen us women to bring forth life. Birth is not just another moment in time but a moment where miracles happen. Women are becoming mothers, men are becoming fathers, families are growing, and a new life is being born. Motherhood is Kingdom work! My heart is for women to be educated, supported, and for their birth experiences to be cherished. I believe your story matters. Not only does your story matter, but this is a time where the Lord brings increased awareness of Himself in your life and an opportunity to know the Father's heart even deeper. In our birth space, may our cry be "Holy Spirit, you are welcome, wanted, and needed here". I live in Rockwall/ Fate and my husband and I serve on staff at The Lakes Assembly. I am passionate about ministry and sharing the truth of Jesus. We have two beautiful daughters, Milah & Norie and one son named Zion. Every hour is coffee hour (want to interview at a cute little coffee shop...let me know) and I love to craft and make new things. I love all things turquoise & teal. Books, Bibles, journals, outdoors & exploring are my thing. When we are able our family loves to travel, camp, and hike.

Lactation Consultant
Congratulations on your new little one! Breastfeeding is a great way to give your little one the very best in nutrition. Breastfeeding is a natural process but it is also a learning experience for both mom and baby. Studies have shown that mothers are more successful with breastfeeding if they have professional support from an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). IBCLCs go through a rigorous educational program including specialized hands on training in complex breastfeeding issues and we are required to pass a comprehensive exam before being granted certification. In addition to my training and certification, I also use the latest research to complement my practice. I graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Family and Consumer Science and a minor in Business Administration. My career in lactation began in 2010. I have helped thousands of families with breastfeeding challenges while working in private practice, outpatient clinics, a hospital and a dental office - with a focus on oral ties, also known as Tight Oral Tethers (TOTS). I am an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I led the state coalition for several years and served on the local coalition board for overlapping terms. I am also a previous HMBANA Milk Donor. After giving birth and breastfeeding two boys, I have come to realize that my heart and passion lies in holistic minded breastfeeding support services. I believe that every family deserves the right to give their baby the best start in life. My goal is to help you reach your goals. Each family is different and I pride myself on being able to tailor my services to what works best for your current situation.
